About This Mod

Description.

This mode adds a color shading to the map that darkens as the camera approaches, similar to HOI4.


All internal coloring stops at the last few scaling levels, so it won't affect those who like to zoom in on the map. I couldn't find a fashion shader card that worked well with 'Shaded Relief Map Ver2', so I made my own. I wasn't going to make this mod public, but because it's easy to install for beginners and there's nothing like it, I wanted to share it with the community if someone has similar tastes.


I tested both with vanilla and with the mods above, and both look good (DLC is not so strong). See screenshots for comparison.


This mod only changes the border file, so it should be compatible with other mods, but it will also change the appearance of other custom paper maps (for better or worse).


Paper Card Changes:


-The paper card "Vanilla" makes the card a little brighter and older.


- Modification of "Shaded Relief Map Ver 2" card, the paper map is distinguished by more contrast and more saturated borders. An enlarged map looks even better than a vanilla..
