About This Mod
Plot
After the abolition of slavery in Brazil, millions of Italian immigrants went to the New World to work on coffee plantations. The economic crisis has led to poverty and hunger among local farmers in Italy. Many of them emigrate to the new world in search of a better place.
Mission
This mission is part of the Inventors & Adventurers campaign. It's based on my São Paulo railway. The plot of Daniel McInson Fox's map, but the map is completely new.
About map:
A map with two small worlds separated by the Atlantic Ocean, which are connected by AI ships. The widget allows you to switch between both worlds.
Old World: Naples and the vicinity of Vesuvius Volcano. The region is mostly agricultural and is especially known for its lemons.
New World: São Paulo Province in Brazil. A region with a large number of (coffee) plantations and a mountainous tropical area.
At the beginning, you are asked to build local transport networks in both worlds. As the game progresses, you will have to connect both networks more and more.
Megalomania 1:5 map. I usually hesitate to use this large size because of performance issues. On this map, however, there are two small "worlds" on either side of the map, separated by a huge ocean in the middle. Therefore, the performance should be normal.
Added cargo types: coffee berries, coffee grains, lemons, alcohol, clothing, cotton, farmers, fish, immigrants, livestock, sugar cane.
New supply chains. Someone in one of the worlds, someone in both. Italian immigrants are needed to work on coffee plantations, and coffee is loved in Italy.
