About This Mod

Everything that looks pretty is disabled and all possible settings are torn out, even more than the W3HC - Witcher 3 Hunter's Config allows. If you're familiar with Gothic 1 and 2, that's what it will look like, more or less. But you wouldn't be here if it bothered you, would you? This configuration file uses very-low resolution (800x480), if you have vision problems, it may be better to skip this mode or increase resolution manually. Just keep in mind that a higher resolution can eat a few FPS.

Please note that...

- You will probably notice a lot of strange pop-up shadows and mostly on the street shadows that move with your character. This is because the shadow's viewing distance is greatly reduced.

"The resolution, as I said, is very, very low. (800x480) If you have multiple spare FPSs, increase the resolution.

- The text will be almost unreadable. Seriously, it's terribly hard to read because of permission. Increase it if you can!

- Pop-ups are everywhere.

- The textures on the armor are almost absent, which is especially noticeable.

- Maybe you should spin the resolution.

- Don't expect anything posh :(.

- Only the water looks great. I haven't yet found a way to lower quality for better performance.

- In the settings, the difficulty is set to 4... If you want to change this, open the user file and look for Difficulty=.

- Alternative traffic on 1.07 Ultra low config activated.

- The patch to version 1.07 did not improve me fps. (I think I lost some fps, but I may be wrong.)

- 9000 Fps more by 3 Fps compared to ultra-low. If you don't want to lose texture detail on Ultra Low, but want to get these 3 additional fps, you can change the value of the parameter MaxVisibilityDepth= to 0. It's in your user file. It basically changes how far you can see the trees. At 0, they'll start appearing right in front of you.

How to install:

1. Unpack the archive.

2. Go to the Witcher 3 installation path. (C:\...\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\base)

3. Back up rendering.ini and move it to a safe location.

4. Copy rendering.ini from the mod and re-record it if necessary.

5. Go to C:\Users\--Your name—\Documents\The Witcher 3 and backup user.settings.bak and user.

6. Copy the user configuration file from the mode and overwrite it if necessary.

7. Delete the user.settings.bak file if you have not already done so. Witcher 3 will generate a new one with new settings.
