About This Mod

This mod offers you a new armor set reminiscent of the The Witcher 2 action promo armor seen in official concept art and trailers.

It is now a full-fledged DLC and no longer replaces vanilla armor. Older versions replacing the Mantecorian armor are still available if someone prefers them, and they still require the BaW Expansion extension to be installed.

To get new armor, visit Yoanna at Crow's Perch. In addition, you can use the following console commands:

additem('W2 Dragonscale Armor')

additem('W2 Dragonscale Pants')

additem('W2 Dragonscale Gloves')

additem('W2 Dragonscale Boots')

Retrieved from version 1.32 of GOG GOTY.

Update v2.0

1. Added alternative (extended) looks for no gloves and no boots

2. Added a fully functional Wolf Witcher medallion, which does not fasten

3. Small corrections and improvements for gloves and boots

4. Added custom icons for new items

5. Added custom text strings for item names

Update v1.5 -> Thanks a lot to skydoespoint for this initial work on DLC! Check out its amazing and huge Shades of Iron DLC content pack!

1. Mod became DLC

2. The number of policies has increased 3 times

3. Textures increased to 4k

4. Weight paints are hand polished

5. Textures polished in Substance

6. Support for NG+

Update v1.2

1. Edited torso net to make shoulder shields rounded.

2. Reworked maps of diffusion and torso normals.

The overall color of the torso has become darker. The leather patch on the left shoulder now looks like a real processed leather.

3. Added 4K diffusion cards for torso and pants.

4. Normal maps have been reworked for additional depth and detail. They are now 2K in size.

5. Improved specularity for kneecaps.

Update v1.1

1. Better quality, less saturated overall colors.

2. Reworked maps of diffusion and normal pants.

Now the pants look like real processed leather with darker colors.

The kneecaps are scratched, darker and less shiny.

3. Specularity for boots improved.

The color of the shields is darkened.

  Purple tint is removed.

4. Added more depth and details to bracelets and gloves.

The effect is subtle but pleasant.

The spikes on the bracelets got a little brighter.

Installation

Download the latest main file (v2.0) and extract to the The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\dlc folder.

If you prefer to use older versions (up to version 2.0), you need to check them out to the The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\mods folder.

There's also an extra patch file that removes the Autogen/Autolevel feature from your armor in case you have some weird combination of mods to upgrade your items/clothing/armor or something like that. However, there is no guarantee that this will work as intended, as it is only an idea and cannot take into account all variations of the mod assembly (that is why the Autogen feature was added first).

Uninstall

Remove the dlc or mod you downloaded from the The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\dlc or The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\mods folder, respectively.

Incompatibility

The latest version of the main DLC file (v2.0) has no incompatibilities and is the RECOMMENDED version.

Old files (up to version 2.0) will conflict with anything that also changes Manticora's armor.
