About This Mod
This mod adds a new weapon to the game - a lightsaber from "Star Wars".
It can be bought in 3 different places. At Hattori's house, at the merchant Otieri's and at the Grandmaster's blacksmith's in Toussaint. The damage and level of the lightsaber are scaled depending on the player's level when purchasing. Mod is compatible with NG+.
Darth Vader's helmet is included as a bonus.
Console command for adding a silver lightsaber: additem('Lightsaber Silver')
Console command for adding a steel lightsaber: additem('Lightsaber Steel')
Console command for adding Darth Vader helmet: additem('Vaders Helmet')
Installation
Blood and Wine Expansion Pack is required for this mod to work correctly! Keep in mind that if you play Next Gen, strange visual bugs of lightsabers can occur.
To install lightsabers, download the Lightsaber file. Unpack the mod and place the dlcLightsaber folder in the dlc folder in the Witcher 3 directory. By default, the lightsabers are blue.
To set sound effects, download Lightsaber SFX. Unpack the mod and place the modLightsaberSFX folder in the mods folder in the Witcher 3 directory.
Important Note: This file replaces the in-game ax battle sound files. This means that all axes use the sound effects of a lightsaber. If you want to have fun with a lightsaber, install it. If that bothers you, just don't install this file and play with basic lightsabers without the cool sounds.
SFX is not compatible with Next Gen!
If you want to change the color of the lightsaber, go to the Additional Files section. Select the desired color and download the desired file. Extract mods and place the modLightsaber<color> folder in the mods folder in the Witcher 3 directory. You can have different colors for steel and silver lightsabers. For example, if you want to change the color of a steel lightsaber to green, download the file "Steel Lightsaber - Green". Unzip it and place the "modLightsaber_green_steel" folder in the mods folder in the Witcher 3 directory. If you change your mind and want a different color, simply remove the modLightsaber<color> folder from the mods folder and install a different file or play with the default blue.
