Custom Player Characters

This mod will allow you to play as any Witch, Witch or Witch without hindrance. Fully customizable appearance. A new magical combat system and a new quest line for the sorceress, fully voiced. All of Geralt's animations are adapted for the female. Geralt's female voices for all languages. Easy integration into redkit projects. Made on the brink of modding capabilities.

Maud opens up a lot of new gameplay possibilities:

play as Witcher, Witch or Witch with any custom look

You can use any existing npc look, armor set look or create your own unique one (there is also a real gear mode for Witcher)

retargeted female animations for gameplay and scenes, no more stretched skeletons

new magical combat system for the Sorceress, with improved spell casting

a new story quest for the sorceress to learn new spells

[separate mod] Geralt's female voice for a better immersion (switched on automatically for female player types, does not replace Geralt's vanilla speech)

Installing: —> Video Instruction <—

0. Make sure you have the latest version of NextGen and Hearts of Stones, Blood and Wine.

1. Download the main Custom Player Characters 7z file.

2. Unzip the contents of the archive into the game directory.

3. Verify the installation: <game dir>/dlc/ should have a dlcCustomPlayerCharacters folder and <game dir>/mods/ should have a modCustomPlayerCharacters folder.

4. Install Community Patch - Shared Imports. [required for scripting].

5. (Recommended): Install female voices for Geralt. [for a better immersion in the game by female players].

6. (Recommended): Install the women's models of Geralt armor. [for more female player appearance options].

7. (Recommended): Install the Immersive Wildlife project (Dhu cats file). [for the quality appearance of cats in quests and polymorphism spells].

8. (Optional): Install the appropriate patch(s) for compatibility from additional files if you have one of these mods:

Brother in Arms (main part and/or additional add-on).

Compatibility patch priority is higher than CPC and conflicting mods.

9. Run Script Merger to fix the script changes.

10. The mod will start automatically when you launch gamesave if you kill ghouls in the Lilac and Gooseberry introductory quest in the White Garden.

   It will automatically add a Chameleon potion to your inventory, which you must click and press E (Consume), and then exit the inventory to start the player's setup scene. Enjoy!

1. Download the main Custom Player Characters 7z file.

2. Unzip the contents of the archive into the game directory. Accept to overwrite all files.

3. Verify the installation: <game dir>/dlc/ should have a dlcCustomPlayerCharacters folder and <game dir>/mods/ should have a modCustomPlayerCharacters folder.

4. (Recommended): Install an updated version of the women's voices for Geralt. [for a better immersion in the game by female players].

5. Run Script Merger to resolve any script conflicts.

6. Enjoy. All old saves are compatible with the new version.

Uninstall:

IMPORTANT - The mod stores data inside game saves, so you will not be able to download saves made after the mod is installed.

If you want to continue playing as Geralt only, you don't need to delete anything - just switch back to Geralt (vanilla) in the player's setup scene.

1. Delete the dlcCustomPlayerCharacters folder in <game dir>/dlc/.

2. Delete the modCustomPlayerCharacters folder in <game dir>/mods/.
