You can rob items while sitting on a horse.
If you're using a keyboard, press the X key instead of the E key to get off your horse.
To maintain the sequence of actions, the key to get out of the ship's seat will also be replaced with the key E to the key X.
If you run Ciri, you can't rob while you're on a horse.
COMPATIBILITY
When using Complete Animations Redux, looting animations must be disabled. Playing an animation of looting while riding a horse will cause Geralt to get stuck.
If you're playing with a gamepad, and mods like Improved Horse Controls eliminate the need to hold down the button to accelerate the horse, you need to edit input.settings to separate the acceleration and interaction bindings. I recommend that you attach the actions necessary to accelerate the horse (Canter and Gallop) to IK_Pad_LeftThumb.
