Clean screen for the next generation
About This Mod
You have just switched to the Next-Gen version of The Witcher 3 and you are amazed by its magnificent visual component. Until it rains, until you start moving around in the countryside and get dirty, or until you look towards the sun and get glare. This mod will eliminate numerous effects and retain stunning graphics at any time.
Main file (all in one)
The main file contains all the fixes in one mode and removes the following effects:
The effect of raindrops on the screen.
Dirty gravel appearing on the screen.
The effect of glare on the screen.
Blood effects such as splashes on the screen and red corners at low health.
The effect of toxicity is a green haze on the screen at high toxicity levels.
The effect of ice on the screen when in cold areas, such as during a snowstorm while chasing Awallaca.
Turns off Blizzard Screen Fx, which turns the screen to gray while the Blizzard potion is active. (at forcedtoREG's request)
Removes dirt covering the screen during a fight with the Witch of Water.
Removes the water animation from the screen when Geralt pops out of the water.
Additional Files (Offline Versions)
For those who don't need all the effects or want to mix and match only some of the effects, the following additional files are available:
Additional file 01 removes only rain, dirt, and glare
Supplemental file 02 removes only blood and toxicity
Additional file 03 removes only the effects of blizzard, underwater resurfacing, frost, and dirt.
***Note: Additional files are intended for use as stand-alone versions. Do not combine them with the main file.
Installation
There are two ways to install this mode:
1) Extract the contents of the file to the \Mods folder, which is usually located at:
[your drive directory]\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY\Mods
-or-
2)You can also use the mod manager. It has been fully tested and works with Vortex.
To delete a mod, simply delete it from the \Mods folder or disable it in the mod manager.
