About This Mod

I don't really like fast travel in big open world games. I prefer to use in-game tools to get where I need to go. It is much more enjoyable for diving, although it takes longer. On land, Roach does well in this role, but on the water, the boats in The Witcher 3 are not enough. Especially when you have to travel long distances, mainly in Skellig. It's too slow to constantly use the boat as an alternative to fast travel. This mod solves this problem by significantly speeding up the boat.



How it works



The boat has 3 speeds (4 if reversing is enabled):



Slow Speed: Only available on the controller. The game's speed has not changed since the base game. Push the left stick forward.

Normal Speed: Speed increased by ~25%. On the controller, hold down the A key (do not push the left stick forward). On the keyboard, hold down the W button.

Fast speed: speed increased by ~60%. On the controller, press the A key twice and hold down the second press (no need to press Left Stick forward). On the keyboard, hold down the W and left Shift.

Inverse Speed: The speed has not changed compared to the base game. On the controller, hold down the X key. On the keyboard, hold down the S key.



Note: The controls specified are based on the default keyboard and controller key binding. You can change them as you would any other binding.
