About This Mod

Place Of Power, Grindstone and workbench buff Charges are two great Originally created by mods: PKCheap, used with permission.

Compatible with Next Gen 4.04

Grindstone and Workbench Charges

Changes the way buffs act from the sharpening stone and workbench; instead of using a timer, they will now use oil-like charges, which decrease when you deal and take damage accordingly.

The reason PKCheap created this mod was because he found that guns lost sharpness over time regardless of their use, which was simply unrealistic. He created this mod to solve this problem. By activating any of the buffs, Heralt will receive 100 charges for weapon upgrades (customizable) and 25 charges for armor (customizable). Each buff will remain in effect until the charge counter reaches zero. Bonuses remain the same as in vanilla (15% damage and 5% armor), and using the Save rune will extend them indefinitely.

You can also use Immersive Buff Charges if you want to make these buffs even stronger.

Buff Charges "Place of Strength

This mod changes the way the Place of Power badge works. Instead of a timer, they will now use charges as well as blade oils. Now, when you get the Place of Strength buff, you get a charge counter starting with 15 charges (customizable) and 30 for the Basilisk Decoction ability, which will decrease when you use the sign that the buff is applied to.

They will also act indefinitely when using Gorged on Power.

PKCheap created this mod because he didn't like the fact that combat buffs had timers in a game where fights don't happen very often.

Buffs are saved after meditation

The mod also includes buffas preserved after meditation by Paulr0013. As with oil, buffs won't be fired if you're meditating.

You can even apply this mod to all vanilla buffs (including GaW and PoP vanilla buffs) in the fashion settings.
