About This Mod
More detailed biomes maps for map mode. New bold color scheme and decoration.
This is a simple addition to the newman55 Map Mod reference map that I use every five minutes while swimming in the deep sea. The overlay is my own design, created in Paintshop Pro. This new map has clear biomes colors and easy-to-read labels and icons for quick navigation.

Install only if you don't mind seeing all the caves, debris and P.O.I.
Turning off fog is not recommended unless you are exploring 100% of the card.
About the time capsule:
In principle, there is no guarantee that there will be a time capsule in the place that I draw. I have read conflicting opinions about how time capsules are created. Some say that the location of the capsules is completely random; others claim that the capsules are generated where the developer places them, but only 10-20 of the 100+ capsules are generated. In my tests, a handful of painted capsules were exactly where they were supposed to be. This is not the final list, and the best way to find them is to look for a bright blue color at night (you will also find many crystals).
Unfortunately, this resource is not currently in development; we prohibit posting mods older than 30 days, regardless of how successful they are (Nexus's fashion statistics make this clear).
