About This Mod
Vehicle Framework: Adds a selectable module to provide short-term immunity to submarines.
This mod requires Vehicle Framework and only works with the vehicles listed here.
We present the top of the technology of protection against submarines - ion protection capacitor: a disposable module based on charge and providing temporary invulnerability for submarines. When activated, the capacitor uses the full power of ion energy to envelop your ship with an impregnable energy shield, neutralizing any damage within three seconds. Its defensive capabilities are second to none, but at a huge cost: it drains an enormous submarine capacity when activated. In addition, the complex nature of the ion matrix requires enormous downtime before it can be re-launched. Ideal for researchers facing the most extreme threats in the dark depths, the ion shielding capacitor is an emergency shield against the inexorable forces of the deep sea.
Recipe: made at the station modification.
1x Ion Power Cell - advanced battery with ion technology.
1x Advanced Wiring Kit - complex assembly of conductors and microprocessor.
1x Polyaniline is a conductive polymer used to withstand voltage surges without degradation.
1x Aerogel - lightweight insulation composition that protects the inside from overheating and energy drops.
2x Enameled glass is a durable, pressure-resistant housing for the module components.
Method of application.
Select the module in the quick slot during maneuvering. Click the left mouse button to launch the Seamoth torpedo. The module produces a sound effect and makes your submarine invulnerable for 3 seconds, while consuming a large amount of energy.
