About This Mod

This mod allows all creatures to resurrect after being killed or captured.

What this mod means.

In Subnautica Below Zero, creatures are not always reborn. After a while, your world may begin to look barren and lonely. This mod allows all creatures to be reborn when they die or are captured (for example, by fish). The game assigns a default respawn value, so you just use it. According to my tests, small fish regenerate every 5 minutes, medium-sized fish every 7 minutes, and very large creatures every 20 minutes. Creatures that were already killed before this fashion was installed will not be reborn.

Version 1.0.2 introduced the ability to prevent the Leviathan from being revived. There is a configuration file that allows you to choose whether or not to revive the Leviathan. The settings file can be found in the SubnauticaZero/QMods/Respawnning_Creatures folder. Edit the file "settings.json" as text.

Why should you use it?

You should use this mod if you want to make sure you never run out of fish to kill or eat, or if you want your underwater world to look more alive. This mod is especially useful for crafting mods. This is because it allows you to receive special materials without depleting your creatures.

Plans for the future.

- Added support for Below Zero.

- Add a setting that prevents leviathan people from being born again.

- Forest creatures who died before fashion installation.
