About This Mod

A library that will help you easily add items, sprites, create logic and much more!

Spend less time figuring out how to make your mode work and more time on what you can do with it

SMLHelper is out of date and no longer receiving updates.

Many fashions now use Nautilus instead. You may have to install both libraries.

A library that will help you very easily add items, models, animated graphics and much more to the game!

Please read the FAQ before asking questions!

Also, do not attempt to modify the files in the Modding Utility folder.

Folder containing the word "cache". They are very important

SMLHelper decides how to add items to the game and they can't be touched, especially if you don't know what you're doing!

Installation

1. Download and install Qmods.

2. Download the archive.

3. Open the archive with WinRAR or 7zip.

4. Drag the Smlhelper_Bz folder to the QMods folder. (If

If you don't have a QMods folder, run the game at least once

QModManager can do this, or you can do the folder yourself.)

Frequently Asked Questions - for Gamers

What the hell is this?

Because this library basically allows you to easily communicate with the game

You can focus more on the features of the mode you are developing. O...

It does nothing on its own, but rather is a "tool" to help other regimes.

What is the difference between this version and the original Sub-deck of Subnautica?

Below zero, there have been some major changes in the way crafts data are processed.

So, we had to reinvent how to deal with these handicrafts.

This also meant that we needed to figure out how we could promote Smlhelper in both games at the same time.

Frequently Asked Questions - for modes

How do I enable debug logging?

You can enable debug logs (for development and troubleshooting) by changing the value of the new EnableDebugLogs.text file.

The debug log can also be changed from the menu of in-game modes, but it looks like this:

Most SMLHelper actions (and therefore logs) are performed before loading the main menu, but this is mostly useful only for later loading the game.

Should I completely overwrite it with SMLHelper when moving the Subnautica mode below zero?

That's not him.... But you need to make some changes.

Pay close attention to the new processing of plan/recipe data.

The old TechData class is now a RecipeData that is less than zero.

All source APIs for handlers are still available in SMLHelper Zero, so there is no need to work around them.

Does this mean that smlhelper development is divided into 2 games?

No, not a drop.. There is still only one repo and only one branch that provides both games.

We're going to do everything we can to decommunize so that everything is together.

However, each game has 1 separate DLL
