About This Mod

Marine Swarm is a 6-player arena-style map. The goal of the game is to defeat the enemy team by destroying the bunkers on its base. Each turn (25 seconds), players receive reinforcements and resources from Marines. In addition, each player chooses a hero to support. Heroes not only possess powerful combat and special abilities, but are also used to capture key areas in the style of "King of the Hill". Each territory belonging to the player receives an additional bonus in the form of minerals at the end of each turn. Minerals can be exchanged for mercenaries and upgrades; there are 12 different heroes in the game, each of which can only be upgraded once. *These characters are not very strong and are not the central element of the game. Heroes include Zergling, who can place non-contact mines; a cockroach, who can create beacons that attract enemy units to the area; a Ghost, who can hide and summon large numbers of friendly units; a Firebot, who can create fire-breathing turrets; and a Rocket, which can be guided at will before an explosion; queens, who can create missiles that can be directed in any direction before an explosion and can damage everything in their path. There are 15 types of mercenaries available for purchase. Among them are the Microscopic Vulture, the High Templar, the Infestator, Diamond Back, Colossus and Probe. The probes have the unique ability to create nexus bombs that can be detonated on command. When the player starts to build a nexus, all other players receive a warning, and the map shows a large radius of the explosion area.
