Fixes for low resolution textures

SAME AS AVATAR CORRECTION

Tested on Hotfix 1.1.1 - still needed and working

INSTALLATION (You don't need to download the file here, it's just a place to install.

1 Set everything up as you want using the game settings, then exit the game.

2 Go to Documents\My Games\Outlaws and edit graphics.settings.cfg (open in Notepad).

3 Find the ["Streamer dedicated budget"] parameter and change it from 64 to 512 or higher (I recommend 1024 for GPUs with 4GB vram).

4 You can set graphics.settings.cfg to read-only (right-click and select properties) - otherwise the game will reset to 64 when you change the game settings.

NOTES

For some reason, the game sets my texture budget at 64 MB, which makes everything look very bad. I have a 4GB card, and although it's not enough for this game, it shouldn't look so bad. I went into the settings and manually changed the standard budget of 64 to a higher value (see below), and this solved the problem. See the images for examples.

Applied settings:

[«Streamer dedicated budget»] = 64,

change to

[«streamer dedicated budget»] = 512,

You can try 1024, 2048, 4096, the game seems to calculate the budget itself if it is set too high. Installing 8192 on my 4096 MB card didn't cause any problems, the game worked fine, but reported higher vram usage as expected and the settings returned to 5120. 512 was enough to pull the textures out of the potato basket, but at higher settings everything looked better, but in the end I settled on 1024 for my settings.

If this patch becomes obsolete in a future patch, I will update this description.
