Improved performance (stable) + repainting

Validated on a modest 8GB Zotac RTX 4060.

My ridge looks much better because the grass and color look more natural and the environment feels better.

In the original, as always, everything is too blurred, and the textures, in particular, are "poisonous" if you understand what I mean.

I hate it.

What else have I changed:

- Changed the driver NVidia from 566.03 to 566.14.

- MSI Afterburner: Power limit set from 100% to 75%.

- MSI Afterburner: Memory frequency increased by 70 MHz.

Since then (and with the mods and tips shown below) the game has run absolutely smoothly and without any problems. Everything is just wonderful.

Install

1:

Download STALKER OPTIMIZER

Copy the included file 'ZZFrancisLouisSO_P.pak' to ..\Stalker2\Content\Paks\~mods

(Yes: "~mods" instead of "mods").

2:

A) Download my file here on Nexus and just copy the file 'GameUserSettings.ini' to

c:\Users\[username]\appdata\Local\Stalker2\Saved\Config\Windows\

You're playing at 1600 x 900 resolution.

1920 x 1080 doesn't look better. Really not better.

In addition, scrolling is smoother at 1600 x 900. (The lower the resolution, the greater the effect.)

B) And just copy Reshade-Data from zip to ..\STALKER2\Stalker2\Binaries\Win64\

(Reshade settings with 'home' and 'end').

3:

Run shader generation once. Then quit the game.

Download NO SHADER WARMUP

Copy the included file 'No_Shader_Warmup_p.pak' to ..\Stalker2\Content\Paks\

The game's launch was greatly accelerated.

(If only there were not all these "new-fangled" "hints" to be viewed in advance. I hate it like a plague. -> Clicking on game -> ONE logo -> main menu? Is that still possible these days? Strange. It used to be possible. No more.)

Yay. Modders can do things that game developers can't.

4:

If you want to use other graphics settings, it's up to you. I'm very, very good with (exactly) these settings (combined with my reshaid), and I'm very happy with the performance.

I play consistently in the range of 33 to 60 FPS. That's enough for me. I limited it to 60 FPS. It really boosts performance. But in the graphics settings everything is already set!

5:

From the beginning, use the trainer and activate only "Zero Weight" and "Infinite Durability of Gear". Why? Very simple: Because the opposite kills the fun of the game. But otherwise don't use any of the coaching options because it's the real killer of the game and makes the whole meaning of the game obsolete. And so it is, and I've studied a lot of the psychological effects that underlie it, and I know what I'm talking about.
