About This Mod

What is it for?

Decreases the physics simulation distance and turns off the physics simulation for the displayed objects.

Mupped objects are objects that have been placed by the developers manually, such as barrels, boxes, crates, crates, etc. Many of them are destructible objects - this mod disables their physics. Items that fall out of your inventory, for example, will still have physical simulation enabled.

The simulation of physics will only happen if you are within 333 units, which is actually not that far away. To simulate the physics of dynamic objects (such as dropped cartridges or consumables) you need to be near them. Once you're gone, their physics will stop being modeled, and they will become static.

Try tossing a few thousand supplies around you, and then notice the difference when you step away.

In general, this should improve performance if you are already experiencing difficulties, especially in dense areas where there are many objects being destroyed.

How to install?

Like any mod, extract the .pak file from the downloaded file and place it in the ~mods directory.

This mod has a high probability of conflict with other mods. If you are using a mod that modifies any of the files below (e.g. increases the number of days, does not waste stamina, etc.) then you will need to use a mod merge, otherwise it will not work!
