Yellow Starter Ship Replacement/Mod
About This Mod
A modified version of the standard yellow ship from the Asteroid scenario. It is equipped with a mine detector at the top, a searchlight at the bottom and a passenger seat for the second player. The damage levels of the armor blocks remained standard.
My wife and I felt that the new Infinite Asteroids update made it more difficult to find ore, so we decided that the yellow ships from the Asteroids scenario needed a mine detector. We also installed a passenger seat for the second player and a spotlight on the bottom to facilitate visual inspection.
Setup will begin by renaming the existing RespawnShip.sbc file to RespawnShip.sbc.old (or any other name you like), renaming RespawnShip. .sbc in RespawnShip.sbc.old (or whatever name you like). Then run the game as normal using the Asteroids script.
To remove the game, delete the file and rename the backup file to RespawnShip.sbc. If you forget to rename the old file and overwrite it, delete it and then check the integrity of the game cache in Steam...
