About This Mod

It is a function > mode recoloring and is specially designed as a CAVE & NIGHT lighting fixture. It should not be used during the day; V.2 has better colors in any light, but it is recommended to turn it off during the day.

The ShadowXisDe user has found a workaround to fix the startup failure starting with version 1.0! The workaround is as follows:

'The game crashes when you enter the menu with presets loaded in Reshade. The workaround I found was to disable presets from loading when opening the game.

You need to open the file "reshade.ini" and change the value of the parameter 'NoReloadOnInit' from =0 to =1,

After loading the save, reload the shader using the hotkey.

Presets will work fine."

Shaders are two or three fairly standard effects; in my limited game with 1.0 I noticed that they make the night brighter, at least when the moon comes out. Thank you for your support and sorry for the headache I've caused you in the last few months.

EDIT: In V.2 the color was significantly improved in all lighting scenarios. Daylight does not appear as blurred as all light sources, but we recommend turning it off during the day for a more attractive visual experience. In the game settings, the default gamma is 50% and the brightness is 50%. We recommend copying these settings when using this Reshade, but of course customize them to suit your preferences. If you have already installed V1 or Reshade for SOTF, please drop this .ini into the installation folder with other .ini files. Click Home in the game and make sure the .ini is 'Let there be Light V.2'. If this is the first time you have installed the game, please see the installation instructions below. Enjoy!

The game is incredibly dark and cannot be optimized with torches or lighters. I usually don't like it when games overcover the night, but Endnight goes too far in night realism and it can make the game unplayable. The game was intended to be a CAVE and NIGHT game, but it is well suited to the day-time forest looting. It's a bit gloomy, but it's intentional, and if you forget to turn it off when you leave the cave or open the inventory, your eyeballs won't burn.

Personally, I recommend turning it off during the day. This is due to the fact that vanilla in the game looks pretty beautiful, but during the day it becomes similar to a faded sepia filter.

The game's brightness level is set to 50% and gamma to 50%.

My display is a 55-inch Samsung Q60 and Acer Nitro 2022 TV, the contrast is a bit higher.

Customize the light effect settings to suit your taste.
