About This Mod

The mania of recreating more realistic sensations includes a number of modifications to the physics in the game:


- Adjust the grip of tires and road surface to a level comparable to the real.

- Increase the maximum speed of all vehicles and carefully modify it to match the acceleration of the empty car (although when it is loaded, the difference is barely noticeable and cannot be changed). The actual physical model of the game kept us making decisions to be more realistic, while other things got worse. Therefore, the more important aspects were chosen for "simulation" to make them more realistic, while other aspects that seemed less important were sacrificed, making them even more arcade-like as a side effect due to the game's very limited physical model. For example, dirt acts like sticky glue. Even if you drive at full speed, you can still get stuck in the mud in seconds. No way to correct this strange behavior of dirt has been found. To achieve a more realistic maximum speed (if conditions allow), we had to apply more torque to the engine of each truck than we needed. This resulted in some overclocking power, but with a few adjustments we found a good balance to minimize the loss of realism.

- Better length. The true length of the mud truck winch can be more than 150 feet (45 m+), but to avoid being deceived, we limited the winch length to the default of 30, the electric one to 20, and only the expensive one to 50 m.
