Mannequin Script Fix
About This Mod
There are many folders in the archive, including older versions, but I use the version in the Alternative folder.
Please read carefully what you need to do to make the modified scripts work correctly.
First, the new script will not work unless you remove the previously issued dummies and give the full set (10 pieces of armor, weapons, ammunition, etc.) (I myself started everything as it was).
Second, the dialog must first be activated in "sneak up" mode. The other details are discussed below.
Explanations.
- Fixed the bug of "wandering" puppet.
- Fixed a bug with duplicate items.
- Fixed a bug with "bare back".
- Puppets can now equip pistols, bows and quivers,
In addition, weapons can now be held in hand and put into "combat" condition.
- Mannequins affected by replicator error can now be "repaired".
- Mannequins can be given ten different poses.
- Mannequins can be switched to "live" or "sculpted" mode.
- This script works with all modes that don't use their own script for mannequins.
Sculpt (Sculpture): By default, all mannequins start working in their normal standing position.
Live (Live) Default: All mannequins start as live characters.
*** The version of the script in the archive can be easily changed by replacing the script.
*** Both versions have the same functionality, differing only by the posture the manikin takes during initialization ("Live" or "Sculpt").
Note: The new version has three modes: Sculpture, Dwemer and Enchanted.
Features.
- The mannequins in the game move randomly. They can soar in the air or move around the room. Then this mode is for you.
- Tired that mannequins constantly create free armor? With this fashion it will no longer be.
- With the console you can use it on standard mannequins that "appear", or on mannequins in standard houses.
- It also works with all mods that add standard mannequins to the game.
- Works automatically.
To activate the dummy.
- Simply go to the dummy and press the Activate key (default: E).
Choose one of three options:
> Dressing - adds or removes items.
- The last item added is put on.
> Change the pose - select one of the 10 poses:
- Default (vanilla)
- Close your eyes
- Hello.
- Applause
- Holds a gun
- Injury 1
- Second injury.
- Inside
- Decline.
- Squat
The poses marked with * are best used in sculpture mode (without looping).
> Do nothing.
- Slightly advance the current animation (eventually the posture will be restored).
* You may have to leave this position and return to restore the previous pose. *
To switch between modes of operation.
* Activate by sneaking up on the dummy.
- Sculpture mode: the mannequin will freeze in a predetermined position.
- "Live" mode: the mannequin stands in the same place, but plays the given animation and turns its head.
Mannequin recovery using "duplicates":
- Download the saved game.
- Approach the dummy and collect all items.
· Return all items to the mannequin until it is full.
- Leave the zone and come back.
- Remove items and use the puppet as usual.
(If one or more items are duplicated, you will have to do it again;
In this case, you do not need to save/load again. If this happens, you do not need to save/download the game again).
Use a different default script version:
** Changing the script version will change only those mannequins that do not have the previous version installed. **
In other words, if you have made a clean write prior to installing this patch
1. review all the options of the proposed scenario, select one and continue playing.
2. try each option and finally choose the most convenient.
** All actions and poses can be set individually for each doll. **
** You can switch between versions at any time without doing anything extra. This does not affect the safety of the game and does not interfere with the performance of missions. **
- Copy the DATA folder contents of the selected version to the DATA folder of the installed game.
- Answer "yes" when prompted to overwrite the files.
Possible conflicts or problems.

- If you have problems or the dummy is behaving strangely, try the following first:
Exit the dummy area once (quickly enter and exit the building), and then return.
This will reload the area(s) and the changes will take effect.
***
- Do not use this modification if you use a modification that changes the "vanilla" script: "MannequinActivatorSCRIPT.pex". This mod script will be overwritten when changes are made, which may cause the mod to break.
Mod authors should include these fixes in their scripts; try using the SPODUM Mannequin Mod mod instead.
- Generally safe, but it is not recommended to replace the script "mannequinActivatorSCRIPT.pex" from other mods. This is because the author of another mod may have added new features, and using your script (not from that mod) may result in damage or loss of the script. Try using this script and if it doesn't work or doesn't have functionality, replace it with a script from a (different) mod. Make sure your logs are backed up before trying, adding, or removing mods or scripts.
