About This Mod
I finally stirred my lazy ass to completely remake the textures for Save Our Ship2. It's been great and massive, we're talking about hundreds of textures that need to be remade, but there's good reason for that. I've wanted to play with Sos2 for a long time, but the texture has always prevented me from trying: I like it when my mods go well together and I like the design of Sos2.
So I sat down, started messing around, working, experimenting and creating a whole new Ruskin. I worked closely with the Sos2 team more than I realized in my efforts - in fact, they encouraged it!
This mod is a complete texture change of Save our ship 2, so you need to have save our ship 2 installed before this mod.

Q: Have you changed the texture of the walls/floor/roof?
A: Yes, of course!
Q: Is this mod compatible with CE?
A: Yes, it is a simple quality set.
Q: Does this have any effect on performance?
A: No. The game uses most of the processing power to score points, move a pawn, etc. Inserting images into the game does not reduce the frame rate per second.
Question: I don't like you changing the texture. How can I turn this off?
A: This mod resizes most objects and structures to fit the game, so it's not easy to remove individual textures.
Q: Is this mod compatible with saving the game?
A: You have to do it!
Q: Why did you decide to reconfigure Sos2?
A: I'm a big fan of Samuel Streamer. I watched his game Captain Bucko on the space and inspired Sos2 to get closer to Vanilla Expanded's artistic style. Now I'm looking forward to seeing him present another step-by-step guide to Sos2, so if you want to help, watch his video and like "Oscar's Request, Samuel," he'll understand what that means.
