About This Mod

This mod adds super-specific auxiliary items to RimWorld, designed to help with common tasks, improve combat skills, and improve settlers.


Maud adds several auxiliary items, eight of which can be made, and the rest are items received for completing quests. All the necessary kits are manufactured in the factory (although some of them require additional research).


Handicrafts

1. Robotic unit - a wearable robotic arm equipped with high-precision, multi-functional tools designed to assist in performing complex tasks. Does not provide protection, but improves maneuverability/vision and helps aim in combat.


(Improves aiming time, shooting accuracy, and maneuverability.)


2. Injury kits - portable medical kits designed to support combat functions. Provide little protection and medical support to prolong the life of the wearer despite serious injuries.


(Reduces damage done and fall rates while resting, while improving shock quality and pain treatment.)


3. survival backpacks - heavy backpacks and camping kit, designed for long journeys. Various power-operated food and tool containers can improve carrying capacity and restore food supplies, making the journey happier and more satisfying.


(Increases food extraction speed and caravan ability, while lowering mental threshold and bargaining speed).


4. Command Tower: Portable walkie-talkie designed to control a small group in the field. It has no defensive function, but its broadcasts can inspire or demoralize closest allies depending on the mood of the owner.


(It boosts social skills and reduces the distress factor, and gives a small bonus to the mood of closest allies in proportion to the owner's mood (this increases to twice as much when adding Command Towers. When using Ideology, this kit generates a small battle aura that reduces pain and slightly improves aiming time and damage ratio from nearby allies).


5. Portable mortar - a smaller version of the standard mortar. It provides increased accuracy in exchange for a long range comparable to that of a full-size mortar. Attempts have been made to make it more portable, but this slows down the user and takes considerable time to prepare for each shot. Recharging is possible, but requires a significant amount of fragmentation ammunition. Mortars must be examined and manufactured on a workbench.


(Wearable mortars with limited range and long firing time, useful for attacking faction bases. It can hold three high-yield rounds and can be recharged for three rounds per charge).


6. 6. mechanoid combat equipment - wearable microprotection generators and field modules designed to increase the effectiveness of the carrier in combat. Airborne AI helps the wearer accomplish a variety of tasks, from tracking targets to administering nutrient-rich pastes and combat drugs in a timely manner. However, it is extremely immune to electromagnetic impulses, and feedback can lead to loss of consciousness.


(It provides a quick, rechargeable full-body shield that can be used in ranged combat, and offers small bonuses for aiming time, pain shock, and movement speed—all at the expense of weak EMIs that cause brain shock.)


7. mechanoid industrial equipment is a cumbersome set of auxiliary tools designed to greatly improve the user's operational capabilities, equipped with a powerful and high-precision multitool. Elemental's artificial intelligence creates the best tools to work, making the device especially useful to non-combatants.


(Increase global speed by 50-50% due to weakness caused by a concussion.)


8. 8. Mechanoid Jump Jet is a wearable heavy-duty shield generator and leaping aircraft designed to increase melee efficiency. The elemental's artificial intelligence dynamically helps him move and distribute weight, allowing him to move faster and beat harder.


However, it responds extremely poorly to electromagnetic pulses (EMPs), and the feedback leads to loss of consciousness.


(This is essentially a jumping pack with a very large shield. It raises the pain threshold and reduces damage taken by changing melee attacks/dodging, but at the cost of vulnerability to EMIs causing brain shock).

1. Vanometric gravity is an arcane, archeotechnological device that can manipulate gravity, allowing you to move at huge speed and fly short distances. A small amount of uranium is used for refueling. Built-in evasion heuristics make the wearer particularly deadly in melee combat.


(A powerful shield belt and jumping pack significantly increase the pawn's movement speed, the likelihood of hitting and evading at close range, while significantly reducing damage. It also makes the jumps longer).


2. rescue frame - exoskeleton with excellent technology, designed to equip the carriers for search and rescue during natural disasters. The device creates a strong shield that protects the wearer from damage and extreme conditions, and built-in medical tools speed it up to the limit of human capabilities. The device is so bulky that its owner cannot engage in normal combat.


(They are virtually immune to anything but toxic precipitation and extreme temperatures. Extreme bonus to healing speed. A small bonus to the healing quality and the chances of success of the operation. (Pawns should easily enter burning buildings and rescue their allies in most firefights.)


3- Wearable forklift is an industrial exoskeleton with superior technology designed for heavy duty and precision production. The device allows the wearer to easily carry very heavy objects, and the self-driving robotic multi-tool expands the user's working skills to the limits of human capabilities.


(100% bonus to work speed, 80% buff to maneuverability, plus a significant increase in travel speed and caravan/load capacity).
