About This Mod

*****

** Fixed in 2.2.6.1.

The group buffs tracker (which appeared in version 2.2.6) does not preserve the fanfare of bards. To fix this, upgrade to version 2.2.6.1 or click on the tracker and click "Fanfare disabled".

Herald's Buff Warden (version 2.2.6)

Use '/hbw' to see the available commands.

Buff Warden is a secure buffa monitor designed to check whether you're buffing enough between battles. The interface consists of a small header line and a list of Buff monitors. The title bar displays the current role, lock/unlock button, reload tracker button, and help button. If the title is not locked, you can drag and drop it freely.

For trackers with multiple buffs (such as Shaman's Heart or Beastmaster's Fellowship Status), you can use the mouse wheel to switch between different buffs. If you click on a buff with the mouse wheel, that buff will be ignored. Left-clicking on the Buff Tracker activates the Buff; due to Rift's API restrictions, the list of trackers is not updated during combat.

By default, the tracker is displayed in green if the buffa is active, yellow if the buffa is less than 10 minutes away, and red if the buffa is not active. The tracker becomes gray if it detects equivalent buffs such as Heroic Blessing or Cry for Vitality. Some buffs (Rising Flames, Righteous Entitlement, Synthesis) are saved for different purposes. Currently, the only way to use these abilities is to select a target and click on the tracker. This will keep this person tracked and buffeted; Righteous Mandate will turn gray if another player's R.M. is on your character, and Synthesis will turn gray if Lifegiving Veil is active. Note that tracker will turn gray if Lifegiving Veil is active.

You can sort the trackers in the Sort tab of the Options window. Unordered trackers are displayed in a random order. The order of the trackers is unique for each character, but the same for different roles of the same character.

Profile.

Buff Warden uses profiles within an account to manage the organization of plugins. You can edit, delete, duplicate, or create profiles in the Profiles tab of the Options window. By default, all characters use the Global profile, and the Global profile cannot be deleted. The profile controls the location, lock state, and tracker colors. In the future, additional options will be added to control the appearance of attachments.

Roles.

Each character can maintain a list of roles that determine whether each ability will be tracked. By default, each role tracks all buffs that the player can apply at the moment, but ignores "Vision of the Ophthalmus", "Planar Defense", all creature tracking abilities, and all item buffs. To change which buffs are tracked, see the Abilities tab in Options.

In addition to tracking individual character buffs, group buffs can also be tracked. When a group buff is tracked, the group buff indicator only turns green if you have all the matching buffs. To set which buffs to track, see the Group Buffers tab in Options. Unlike other trackers, clicking on this tracker opens the relevant settings tab. Each time you exit and enter the game, the list of monitored group boosters is reset to zero.

Characters will use the shared role until you change it to a different role. To change the role, use the /hbw setrole <role> command. After switching to another role, the tracker display will not be updated until you click the reload button, run /hbw reload, or change the character's abilities to automatically reload. Therefore, it is recommended that you create a macro to control role switching:

  hbw setrole senticer

  loadekip 1

  Role 1

or

  hbw setrole senticar (solo)

  hbw reinstall
