About This Mod
Step-by-Step Guide to Using DLSS EnablerFirst step: Download the necessary files
Download mod:
Download DLSS Enabler and the necessary files for Red Dead Redemption.
Second step: Preparing to install
Locate the game root folder:
Open the game's root folder and copy the path where the files and .exe are located.
An example for RDR.1 is D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Red Dead Redemption.
Open DLSS Enabler:
Open DLSS Enabler and accept the terms.
Paste the path or browse to the root of the game.
Third Step: Installing for NVIDIA GPUs
Please select the correct option:
If you have an Nvidia GPU (RTX or GTX), use one of these two options:
Option 1: version
Option 2: winmm
Install mod:
Click on the "Next" button and continue with the installation of the mod into the game.
Be sure to uncheck the last checkmark to complete the installation.
Step Four: Installation for AMD or Intel GPUs
Select the option you want:
Follow the same steps until you reach the option to install the primary dlss enabler.
You can choose the same option:
Option 1: Version
Option 2: winmm
I recommend using the option: DXGI (better for AMD).
Enable AMD and Intel support:
Enable enable support for AMD AND INTEL (DO NOT USE FOR NVIDIA CARDS).
This will allow the system to work with AMD and Intel.
Complete the installation:
Click Next and complete the installation.
Be sure to clear the check box to see no additional information.
Fifth step: Run and configure the game
Open the game in normal mode:
After the game starts, go to the configuration settings and select DLSS.
For AMD and Intel users, the DLSS option is simply a fake activation to enable the mode.
Select Upscaler:
Once you have selected the DLSS, start the game in normal mode.
In the game, press Insert to select an upskeleton.
Apply an upskeiler and press Insert again to close the menu.
To configure in-game settings:
Open the game menu and disable V-Sync.
Enable Nvidia Reflex low latency (AMD and Intel will support AL2 and Reflex API).
Turn on the Frame Generator:
Go to the Frame Generator option and turn it on.
Go back to the game and see how the magic happens.
Troubleshooting:
If you encounter problems with your character, you have been notified to the creators of fashion. You can lock the FPS in the game up to half the refresh rate of your monitor (for example, 144 Hz -> 71 FPS) to improve performance until the release of an official update or fix.
