About This Mod

Although the text in the game is mostly Chinese, the English maps are still more or less uncomfortable, and now I have created a completely Chinese map with the help of viper.

Briefly present the main points of this map:

First, and most importantly, it's a 100% Chinese map, meaning every letter that was on the map is now a Chinese character.

Second, even the hidden locations were fully translated into Chinese by default, while the original game's function of showing hidden landmarks on the map after they were there was preserved.

Third, different fonts are used for different types of landmarks: for example, the same font is used for continental landmarks such as Ambarino and New Austin, while another font is used for urban landmarks such as Valentine, Rhodes and Blackwater.

The fourth point is that I did each attraction with the rest of the text around it, adjusting the position several times to avoid overlapping text with each other as much as possible.

Fifthly, I completely imitated the effect of aged parchment of the original map and the effect of worn and faded text when zooming in a certain area. For example, in the case of the Storm's Edge, it completely mimics the aged appearance of the original text.

The sixth point is light weight. Fully modeled on the specifications of the original game, the mod, although containing almost 200 files, but after unpacking has a size of only 2.5 megabytes, which allows you not to worry about lags.


You can specify specific details in the game. Due to the huge amount of work, the map of the Guam area is not yet done, so I will add it later when I have the opportunity. Since the problem of stealing and profiting from mods is too serious, we have no choice but to add a watermark to the map. I hope you understand me.


How to use:

It's very simple, just drag and drop the unzipped ZZTC Chinese card folder into the lml folder.



To install, simply drag the ZZTC Chinese Maps folder to the lml folder.
