The Northrop B-2 Spirit, also known as the stealth bomber, is an American heavy strategic bomber.

B-2 Spirit is designed to perform critical penetration missions of the U.S. Air Force that can penetrate deep into enemy territory to deliver ammunition, including nuclear weapons.

It was painted with B-2 anti-glare paint to reduce optical vision during the daytime flight.

The bottom of the plane is dark because it flies at a high altitude (15000 m) and at this altitude it harmonizes well with the dark gray sky.

The B-2 radar cross-section (RCS) is reported to be about 0.1 m.2 (1.1 square feet).
