B42 Multiplayer - Legion of Death
About This Mod
To use this mod, you need the zomboid project and an unstable beta branch. Do not report bugs to developers when using this mod. If you want MP bugs related to this mod to be fixed, please report them to Death Legion discord. This mode uses C:/users/username/username/zomboid42 to save saves instead of C:/users/username/zomboid. This is done to avoid conflicts with the B42 so that a copy of the B41 can be installed at the same time without overwriting the B42 files; to keep the B41 installed, copy the zomboid files from the project before switching to the beta branch Please note that the zomboid file must be copied to the beta branch before switching to the beta branch. Installation To install, unzip the files to the zomboid project folder. The files must be in the base directory. Example: 'Steamsteamapps﹑ProjectZomboid' If you did not include the file extension, run the game using 'b42mp.bat' or 'b42mp'. Join Death Legion Discord Server Hosting for detailed installation instructions: currently, you can only host the server using the provided bat file. This will start the private server. Currently, in-game hosting is not available. This requires a collaboration code that is currently taking time to implement; to add mods, you must add a mod to the server configuration file in the format Mods=workshop_idmod_name;. The other mod settings are the same as for B41. steam does not filter B41 servers, so it may be difficult to find a B42 server in the list of servers. If you need hosting on a B42 server, you can rent it from Legion Hosting, but it can still be glitchy, so first check your MP by joining a Legion of Death server or other custom server.
