Advanced Quickslots

An important note for those who use Partiality:

Delete Partiality, reinstall the game (or Steam Verify). BepInEx won't patch files like Partiality does, and will solve many of the installation problems people have experienced. But for him to work, he needs a fresh, pristine game.

Quickslots Extended Mode

Partiality for Outward, which adds 8 new fast slots with custom bindings.

Uses BepInEx and Harmony.

Thank you very much to stimmedcow for its quick slot code, without which this mod would not be possible. A number of changes were required to turn it into a mod, but most of the research and code belongs to it. Thanks to Kongenav for working with me on making its keyboard shortcut template compatible with this.

The mod won't work unless you follow these instructions exactly.

BepInEx is now required for this mode to work. It will replace Bias. I created a plugin that allows BepInEx to download Partiality mods so you can continue to use Partiality mods of other authors and this one together. BepInEx v5.0 is still in development, but is close to release. You need to download mods for Outward.

1) Go to https://builds.bepis.io/bepinex_be  and download the latest build, which starts with BepInEx_Legacy_x64. Click on Artifact View to see the assemblies.

) Extract the zip archive into the Outward installation directory.

3) Extract the zip archive of the mod from the files section to the Outward install root directory, which also contains Outward.exe for reference.

4) Configure the desired number of ADDITIONAL Fast Slots in Outward\BepInEx\config\com. Ashnal.Outward.ExtendedQuickslots.cfg

5) Run the game and enjoy!

Compatibility

Recent compatibility issues with other mods that add key bindings have been resolved in version 1.2.0, so mods such as "Enable Seat" and "Hide Helmet" are now compatible.
