About This Mod

This mod does not represent anything serious, just basic repainting for 2B. This can be done with other characters, given their texture IDs and textures themselves. If someone wants me to add 9S and A2 textures, let me know, but I'll probably end up doing it anyway.


It uses FAR injections, so you really need to have FAR to use this mod.


I have included some basic colors to start with, as well as the original file(s) themselves, so that everyone can make adjustments themselves or make their own recolors. I'm also going to share files so people can send their colors, especially if they have cool things like a gradient. The original texture folder contains instructions on how to get started and a link to the YouTube tutorial I used to change the textures.


Several points to watch:

- my descriptions of colors for files are not 100% accurate, as the blue color seems lighter, etc. It's just because of the way I painted it (I actually used the blue color when coloring).

- hair textures will be coming soon

- my orange color seems gold :)

- These models use the same identifiers as other models, so other YorHa will have the same colors as your character.


I also added a 2B normal map because it looks very cool in the form of a texture, it will be in the normal maps folder.


Installation instructions:


1. Download mod


2. Unzip the folder, choose the color you like, place the image file of that color at the end of the folder path FAR_Res.

for example. \NieR - Automata\FAR_Res\inject\textures\NieRAutomata.exe\ <- the texture goes to the last folder


3. Navigate to your game directory \NieR - Automata\ and place the folder FAR_Res


4. Start the game

 

5. If you want to remove the texture or choose a new one, simply replace/delete this file in the folder FAR_Res.
