Custom Music Player 0.8.0
About This Mod
At first glance, it's a bit of a complicated mod, but if you find time to play with it, I hope you find it simple and understandable.
This mod does not come with any presets or music.
However, the mod is made so that it can be easily shared, all it needs are mp3 files and properly configured settings.xml thrown into the mod folder, and it should just work.
Modders, you can put this mod as part of any mod for music/presets/playlists assembly.
The mod is in the process of development, mistakes are possible, the in-game menu is nothing outstanding, but so far it is coping with its task.
Features
Play music for specific weather conditions (e.g. cloudy, rainy, etc.)
Play MP3 audio files instead of any vanilla music from the game.
Play specific music or randomly select from a folder or playlist
Play music in custom hours and minutes (based on time).
Music can be changed and downloaded in place
Volume slider for user music only
Resuming previously played music (for example, Outdoors -> Indoors -> Outdoors will resume playing from where it ended)
Fade between time-based compositions
Support for relative and absolute paths - audio files can be located in the fashion folder (best shared) or outside it.
In-game menu
Opportunities / To Do List
Music Download/Progress Notification
Play music for specific areas (for example, a boss room)
Optimize music downloads (faster download times)
Improving the in-game menu
Important
Currently, mod does not have a list of all possible songs in the game. Instead, it makes a list as you meet every vanilla song in the game.
You can open the menu at any time to see which song is playing at the moment and set a preset for it if you want to play your own music.
To make any changes to the presets, press the Reload music button to load them immediately, otherwise they will load the next time you save or sleep.
