About This Mod

A program that regularly backs up your records (configured every 15 minutes!)(Default), and to maintain up to 100 backups, auto-discovery stores a folder of data and triggers MH promotion. It can be used to replace MH lifts that are still running, and it is compatible with modified injectors!

Definition:

This program was created to have a variety of modes to warn you about damage to saved data, and I made sure not to lose hours of playback. it is a complex but simple program that provides a one-click solution to back up your saves and is a non-trivial way to restore your recordings. keeps history intact. This is a program to continue immediately.

There are some controls to make sure that Steam is running, only one version is running at a time, and you can turn the game into reality using api Steam, as well as discover it by placing it next to the injector. run it instead of a modifiable executable, and then run the reshade executable to run in reshade. You can also run it using the MHR reshade injector by running MH Rise.

Change History:

Includes a control to execute the pair

Enables testing only for the production version of the program

It contains a confirmation for the currently logged-in Steam user (for user ID retrieval only)

To save a folder of game data, create a bat file in the folder for quick action

Check if the game is already running and if the user wants to exit the process and start the game or skip the start process

Automatic game launch via api Steam

It automatically detects the mh lifting injector, you just need to run it to run the injector on the side if it is in the same directory. (Rise Launch Application)

I have automatically installed the program below the normal thread priority to minimize the impact on performance (I have personally used it in the last 30 days).

Schedule backups of your saved data every 15 minutes, keeping a total of 100 running backups, and deleting and storing the oldest backups for a total of 100. This gives you savings roughly equivalent to the last 25 hours of game time, but it's only an estimate because the first time you start, you get a refund. Note that this folder may grow over time (depending on the size of the save folder, which is about 10 MB at a time, it may be larger than 100 MB).

It determines whether the game is finished, and closes the Save Manager (which runs most of the time, but where the gameplay remains after the game is finished).

Errors are logged in the error log.txt for easy troubleshooting

All records are stored in a folder named "Save Backup Folder" according to the naming convention "Year-Month-Day_Hour_Minute_Second". This makes it easier to find recent records, and you can sort them in ascending/descending order in the "Windows Name" field.

Usage:

1. Place it in a separate folder or next to the mh reshade injector

2. Run MHR-Savemanager.exe

3. Try running the game until Steam and the user log in, or run the reshade injector to run the game using ReShade if it is detected.

4. Play the game.

5. When the game is over, press the Enter key on the console and it will turn off after 5 seconds (this should give you processing time to complete the copy and minimize CPU utilization)

Restore saved data:

1. Go to the Save Backup folder.

2. Select the mail file to save the data you want to use

3. You can execute the following commands: on a bat created in the same folder as the MHR-SaveManager, go to the current save folder of the game data

4. This next step will delete and modify the existing save data, so be careful if you do not want to do so.

4.1 Save the data for which you want to change the data copy the contents of the zip file and copy / paste the data into the "Save" folder.

3. Open it in a step and say "Yes" to the file you are trying to edit.

5. When you play a game via MHR-SaveManager, your cloud recordings are synced (if you have enabled this in steam) and you need to return your previous recordings.

Note that I have noticed that Steam's cloud backup in other games can restore old records. With Rise, however, this does not seem to be a problem.

Note that this is a registry read, but only from the registry. No changes are made except to delete the oldest backup, and no destructive action is taken. The code is available at githubhttps://github.com/keegars/MHR-SaveManager, and feel free to check it out.
