About This Mod

You can instantly set/remove in-game modes.

How to install and run the Mode Manager:


Download and install the latest reframe from your Nexus or nightly build.https://github.com/praydog/REFramework-nightly/releases。 Download Mhrise.Lightning

Extract the contents of UltimateModManagerByRaz0r.zip and MHRISE.Archive it to your game directory.

Make sure you have a directory named "reframework" and "ultimate_mod_manager" in "MonsterHunterRise \". The standard way to install "C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MonsterHunterRise \"<- the directories should be here.

Once ingame, the mod manager will initialize after a few seconds(you will see a notification). The overlay can be opened/closed with the Insert key.

Make sure it's loaded by checking ScriptRunner and PluginLoader for errors - you should see "Loaded plugins: ultimate_mod_manager" and no errors.

The mod manager settings can be found inside the overlay, under Script Generated UI =>Restart the Ultimate Modes Manager using RAZ0R.

Click Use Other Window to open the Mode Manager in its own window.



List of functions:

Modes can be set/removed in the game - in most cases you do not need to restart the game, you can view and set the mode during the game.;

Fashions can be set/removed in place - depending on the game you will have to change clothes or reinstall the save. Some modes cannot be reconfigured multiple times.

Currently, the following games are officially supported: RE2R (RT and non-RT) / RE3R (RT and non-RT) / RE8 / DMCV / RE4R / MHRise / SF6;

 

 

Setting Mode:

In the Mode Manager window, expand Settings. Here you can set the mode path - you can click "Modify" (this will allow you to find and select the directory), and then click "Reload Directory" - this will scan the directory modes. This may take some time on your hard drive (it may take up to 5-8 minutes on 1000mod).

Once you have added a new mode to your directory, you also need to click the Recalculate Directory button.

If you need to download basic / basic files first, you will have to do so even if you are using this mode manager. The administrator will keep the mode loading order - if you load the mode itself in the wrong order (for example, first hair color and main file), you can load the mode in the wrong order.

Monster Hunter Rise and Street Fighter 6 are at the reboot stage / in the scan menu / when opening the item chest (if the game does not apply a certain technical mode, set it and restart the game).

Resident Evil8Village requires the save to be reinstalled.

In Devil May Cry5 you either need to complete the current task and upload/download mode, or go to the main menu to download the task. Restarting from the checkpoint will not unload/reload the mode (2. Watch the video on Youtube);

In Resid Deck Evil2remake you need to switch between different game outfits to download mod. Reloading the save will not do this;

With Resident Evil4Remake, you can set the mode you just installed by simply resetting the save

Resident Evil3Remake requires the save to be reinstalled. Changing existing clothes after you set up mods will cause modes to break. It is recommended to set the mode in the main menu or only in the current outfit. In the worst case scenario, you can always load the mode and restart the game. This game is at worst compatible with Instant install/uninstall. This usually depends on the modes - some work better than others;

It is strongly recommended that you place the mode in the root folder of the drive or as close to the root folder (for example, the root folder of the drive) as possible. E: \RE4R_Mods or E:\Mods\RE4R_Mods ). Thus, the path length limit rarely exceeds 260 characters;

Show Preview - opens a new window in which the preview image is displayed;

Limitations:

This mod manager can use/install only those things that modify game files, not code injectors / scripts / plugins. ".Pak mode is also considered a regular archive and is not only unpacked, but also supported.

Make sure that the drive you want to save your mode to has an extra 1-2 GB of free space (the mode manager will take a screenshot.jpg and modinfo.to cache them).

The mode path must not exceed 260 characters (a warning is displayed if one file exceeds this limit. This file will be skipped and will not be downloaded). If this happens, try renaming the mode to a short name or placing the mode file somewhere in the root folder of your drive (for example, if you want to set the mode to your computer).E:\RE4R_Mods Or E:\Mods\RE4R_Mods ).

Mode path cannot contain non-Unicode characters (only Latin alphabet is supported).

Some modes, such as wallpapers from the main menu and boot screen modes, require the game to be restarted.

That is, if you set the mode yourself and some settings, you will not be able to change these settings after downloading the game (not all modes will be set).

Some modes can violate some things, such as animation. For example, if you set an island animation for Leon in Re4remake, the Leon animation will break (there is always an island animation), in any mode you will also have to restart the game. Also, you cannot remove the transparency setting as a whole (reboot required).

Resident Evil 7 is not officially supported, but the RT version may be a little useful (untested, no plans to support re7).

As a rule, it is highly recommended to set/remove mod in the main menu before anything is set (RE2R requires you to change your suit back and forth to restart the game).

The archive modes (7z / rar / zip) must be set by the mode manager first. Uncompressed modes (those in a folder rather than in the archive) are preferred, and no installation is required.

Scanning of unpacked modes is almost instantaneous compared to batch modes. To reduce the size of uncompressed mode, enable folder compression in Windows (reduce the size by about 30-40%).

  


Known Issues / Questions:

For very large packaged modes (1GB or more), it may take a few seconds to start showing progress. Especially if it is on the hard drive;

The Mode Manager window closes during scan modes (this can happen if your hard drive has more than 1000 modes).

The mode preview images are not displayed - no images or modinfo.ini settings are not set correctly, or the image has a different name, or it is completely missing.

Scanning takes a long time - this is expected if your modes are on a hard drive, not a solid state drive, and you only need to allow it to be scanned once, after which the scan will be gradual.

Deleting a mode or setting any other option does not affect the mode.

Resident Evil 3 Remake modes are not working or glitch -RE3R has the worst compatibility with on-the-fly installations. It is recommended to set the mode in the main menu or restart the game. Also, make sure that your RT version of the game does not have a non-RT mode installed.

The game doesn't start because of the recently installed modes, how can I remove them without running the game, move them to the game directory folder / ultimate_mod_manager and create a file called "disable" (without quotes). This will temporarily disable all modes the next time you start the game. Remove the mode that has corrupted your game, delete the file "disable", clear the check box to disable all modes (temporarily), or restart the game.
