About This Mod

Maud Valhalla Guards (Guardians of Valhalla) adds six new minions to Minecraft: archers, crossbowmen, healers, knights, lords and magicians. They are designed to protect villages and naturally occur in each of them. The new Gargoyles will protect the villages and make it easier to protect them from raids.

Motion Mode

  • To change the mob's movement mode, interact with it using a specific item
  • First, you need to tame the villager to start interacting with you
  • Garrison: A bell can be used to order a mob to stay close to the center of the village. Sometimes a villager will go to the outskirts and stay there. Such a mob can be easily defeated by number
  • Patrol: The bonfire will make the mob move on the outskirts of the village, but again, the villagers will be vulnerable to attack
  • Standing still: if you interact for hours, the mob will be still, but will get immunity to repulsion
  • Follow: A golden nugget tames mobs and forces them to follow the player
  • Flag: also makes the villager follow the user


Goals

  • Warriors always attack outlaws and monsters
  • Never attack players, relatives, creepers or iron golems
  • Archers, wizards and healers always run away from monsters and outlaws


Transform and Spawn

  • Mobs appear in villages and disappear if they are outside the village radius
  • Use the following items to turn a villager into a warrior:
  • Archer: Arrow
  • Crossbow (must be archer): Crossbow
  • Lord: Star of the Lower World
  • Defender: wooden sword
  • Trident Warrior (must be protector): Trident
  • Mage: Wand
  • The Medicine: A Book
  • Villager: bed


Equipment and modes

  • Each warrior has a different outfit
  • When the mob is transformed, it gets other equipment
  • To equip a mob, interact with it with items
  • You can wear armor on the villagers
  • Does not work with enchantment or effects
  • Archer and Knight: Any type of armor and material. No treatment works
  • Archer: Crossbow turns into Crossbow
  • Knight: Any type of sword or ax
  • Wooden Ax/Sword: 3/4 damage
  • Stone Ax/Sword: 4/5 damage
  • Iron Ax/Sword: 6/7 damage
  • Golden Ax/Sword: 3/4 damage
  • Diamond Ax/Sword: 8/9 damage
  • Ax and Sword of Nezerite: 10/11 damage
  • Lord: Armor Rack
  • No Armor: (50 health, fire aspect 1, sharpness 3)
  • With armor: (75 health, fire aspect 1, sharpness 3)
