About This Mod

The Spawn Balance Utility Mod mod helps modpack developers, server operators, ordinary people who host personal games with multiple mob mods, and mod developers identify and correct spawn balance issues. With this mod, you don't have to endlessly try a certain value, watch how it works, and start over; you can make more informed choices when editing spawn weight and group size in mods; you can take the right ones. The mod allows you to control the weight of spawn mods and ordinary mobs depending on the biome. You will be able to add any mob from the pack to any biome in the pack (the mob still has to go through its internal spawn conditions!). .

A normal user can use the SBU as a plug-and-play mode; simply set the SBU to default values, and the worst problems will be solved. Minecraft creatures will not disappear, some modified creatures will become slightly more common, and other modified creatures will become slightly less common. There's nothing else to do.

Several files are created in the spawnbiomeutility folder that can be used to check the current spam rate. For example, in our case, Mutant Beasts had a value of 45, but we were in a biome where there were many other mods of creatures with higher spawn levels. As a result, we never saw them. When we increased the value to 100, they began to meet too often. And when we lowered the value to 80, the frequency of occurrence became "just right".

If you are the owner of the server or the developer of the mod pack, you can use the SBU to fully control the weight of the spawn. You can do this in a text editor, but the easiest way to use a spreadsheet is to use a spreadsheet.
