About This Mod

If you are using a PC with an older or slower processor (such as a processor with less than 8 threads), you may have noticed that Minecraft occupies 100% of the CPU when the title screen is loaded, causing the cursor to stutter and making multitasking difficult. The Smooth Boot Mod (1.20.1) fully solves this problem by optimizing Minecraft boot so that it boots more smoothly on low systems and scales better on high systems.

Minecraft uses Executor to perform multi-threaded tasks. The problem is that the tasks that are performed at boot time are quite processor-intensive, which results in its 100 percent utilization. In addition, some tasks do not always benefit from multithreading; Smooth Boot solves these problems by changing the extractor parameters, such as the number of threads used and the priority of each thread.

The mod must be compatible with all mods, including Optifine. However, it is worth noting that mod uses mixin overrides for some of the methods used to load the game.

Change the number of threads used to load.

Change the priority of threads used by Minecraft.

Change the configuration from the game in the AutoConfig menu.
