RyoamicLights Mod (1.20.4) - dynamic lighting for Forge
About This Mod
If you have encountered Optifine settings, you may be aware of a feature called Dynamic Lighting. This function allows objects that emit light to illuminate the surrounding space. Players no longer need to place torches to light caves, instead they can hold the torch in one hand to light up the surrounding space. This saves a lot of resources that would otherwise have to be used to make torches, and with RyoamicLights (1.20.4) this dynamic lighting can be done in-game without having to download the full Optifine feature. Moreover, any mob with glowing effects, such as magma mobs, can illuminate its surroundings. If you've ever seen a magmatic mob, you may have noticed that when it jumps, its expanding and melting innards glow. This detail was very well thought out by the creators of RyoamicLights and increases the intensity of light that the magmatic mob emits when jumping, giving the surrounding blocks more intensity of light.
