About This Mod
Thin Air Mod (1.20.4) is a new Minecraft feature that will literally lift your survival skills to new heights. This unique mod introduces hardcore air mechanics that add realism and complexity to the gameplay. Breathing becomes increasingly difficult as one moves away from sea level, making exploring caves and climbing mountains difficult at high levels. Forget about carefree travel in the bowels. Without enough air, you'll suffocate trying to survive.
Features.
Below Y=0, above Y=128 air is gradually lost in the subsoil.
Eventually, there won’t be any air left.
Free-breathing potions (renamed from aqueous respiration), respirators, and air bubbles can be used to protect oneself.
Create a small, warm hearth of security with the help of the Soul Fire, Soul Torch and Soul Fire. A Soul Fire bottle can also be used to restore the lungs.
Safety lights change color in your inventory and in the world to tell you about the air quality around you. They can also be painted for decoration!
Drowning will result in loss of air upon attack.
As an extra bonus, you can right-click on a lantern to make it erupt particles.
