Full moon = normal brightness in Minecraft

New moon = no light at all

No torch or skill = total darkness regardless of moon phase

Configuration:


The configuration can be found at config/darkness.properties.


dark_overworld: enable in Overworld (default: true)

dark_default: enable in empty dimensions such as Overworld (default: true)

dark_nether: enable in nether (default: true)

dark_end: enabled at end (default: true)

dark_skyless: Include in non-empty dimensions such as End or Nether (default: true)

dark_nether_fog: Set the value between 0.0 and 1.0 to darken the subsurface fog (default: 0.5)

dark_end_fog: Set the value to 0.0 to 1.0 to obscure the end fog (default: 0.0).
