About This Mod
True Ending Ender Dragon Overhaul Mod (1.20.4) revolutionizes boss Ender Dragon's fight. New attacks and elegant particle animations create a more pleasant ending. True Ending radically changes the vanilla Ender Dragon. Fight the stronger Ender Dragon with multiple phases, increased power, and new attacks. Longer dragon breaths and elegant particle animations have also been added, making the fight against an ender dragon more intense and enjoyable. The difficulty of Ender's dragon damage in True Ending depends on the difficulty, so for a more serious challenge, set the world mode to Hard. You can also easily fight in Easy mode.
Features.
Ender's dragon HP was increased from 200 to 300.
The boss's music is now played to all players on the central island during the battle with the boss of Ender Dragon.
Ender's dragon battle adds surrounding particles around the arena and players.
Added Dragon Dive attack, which creates a large shock wave when an ender dragon falls to the ground.
Also added is a variation that performs three dives (triple dive) when the player's health stops below 75%.
Added a dragon fire ball chain attack.
Added giant laser attack.
Added the final phase when Ender's dragon hovers above the ground and strikes last in the air.
The Caged End Crystal Tower is now being destroyed in a more intuitive way: it is guarded by a phantom, and defeating it destroys the cage.
At 10% HP, Ender's dragon will no longer take damage until it stops. If it has not yet stopped or is about to stop, it will be forced to stop after 30 seconds.
When a finite crystal is destroyed, a counter is added to show how many more finite crystals remain to be destroyed.
After defeating Ender's dragon, anyone within 128 blocks of the central end island now receives a "Free the End" promotion.
Ender Dragon's rebirth animation has been altered.
When an ender dragon is revived, a global sound is heard for all players in the final dimension.
Additional input and output animations from the End.
The duration of the Dragon Breath/Area cloud from dragon fireballs has been increased from 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Dragon Globes now deal direct damage upon landing.
Ender's pearls falling out of new Ender dragon attacks are now crashed (this is done in order to prevent Ender's pearls from being retrieved from the Endermen killed in battle).
Resistance to the Knockback Ender Dragons was greatly increased, so that arrows would not lock dragons in the air until stopped.
The endocrystal flame is now the flame of the soul.
Settings:
Using /function true_ending:_settings in chat, you can set many options in the True Ending settings menu, such as the physical form of an ender dragon.
