About This Mod
Lucent Mod (1.20.1) is a dynamic lighting mod and API created with the idea that it should be customizable. While this mod does affect framerate, various measures have been taken to reduce performance costs without completely rewriting Minecraft's rendering engine. Having dynamic lighting is a great help in this regard, as it not only improves the frame rate, but also adjusts the lighting balance in the game, making everything look more realistic. Thanks to the Dynamic Illumination mod, exploring caves has never been easier. Wielding torches, glowstones and other similar items will illuminate the area around you. Likewise, if you throw a glowing object, it will continue to illuminate the surrounding area.
