About This Mod

Since the release of Faithful Resource Pack (1.20.6 and 1.20.1), Faithful has sought to provide players with the opportunity to play Minecraft at high resolution. This article discusses the Faithful 64x texture package, which quadruples the resolution of all blocks and objects. The package is intended to improve vanilla games in which the default textures have a resolution of only 16x, due to more detailed 64x textures. If you prefer this style, try a Stevens Traditional texture package with the same resolution.


Faithful 64x was originally developed by a user named Vattic and has since been supported by a community of fans. The package is completely free and open source, so it can be used on a variety of platforms including Minecraft Java, Bedrock, MCPE, and Dungeons. The project is unique in that its original creator, Wattic, gave the Compliance 64x team permission to continue working on a pack called the Faithful 64x. This rebranding demonstrates the team's commitment to preserving the vision and legacy of the original project.


The package also offers many add-ons and mod patches created by its dedicated fans. These Faithful 64x add-ons allow players to further customize the Minecraft world with new textures, animations and features.
