Distant Horizons Mod (1.20.2) - detailed level mod
About This Mod
Distant Horizons (1.20.2) adds Level Of Detail (LOD) to Minecraft. This implementation increases the rendering distance without sacrificing performance by rendering the simplified fragments beyond the normal rendering distance.
This means you can see more without turning the game into a slide show. Now you will finally be able to enjoy the observation deck, which was built on the top of the mountain.
Variable Granularity: The closer the fragment becomes larger and less granular the farther it is from the player, increasing performance.
Far fog: fog can be turned on/off in the GUI configuration.

Level of Detail: Mod renders blocks with different levels of detail depending on their distance from you.
Vertical fog: The fog can be adjusted to vary depending on horizontal distance and vertical height.
