About This Mod

The Compact Crafting Mod (1.19.2) is inspired by the crafting miniaturization mechanism from the Compact Machines mod. This is an all-new update with improved recipe loading, data bundle support, new client-side features, and a modernized codebase. The goal of Compact Crafting is to make it painless for both users and mod pack developers, simplifying the use of crafting mechanics.

JEI layered representation:

JEI's interface has been completely redesigned, you can now view recipes in a burst view (to quickly get to the bottom of a recipe) or if you want more detail, you can view recipes layer by layer! Huge credit goes to Elucent for creating the sprites for this operation.

Recipe Layers:

In Compact Machines 3, the recipe designer had to be very specific about recipe layers due to the way crafting works. This meant a lot of work for the designer instead of "letting" the mod "figure it out" itself, and meant that user recipes felt like second-class citizens to the mod; In Compact Crafting, to make the definition of layers more streamlined, this System has been redesigned.
