About This Mod

Star Bot Addon (1.21, 1.20) is a unique MCPE/Bedrock addon that allows you to recruit bot players in your world. These bots can be used to idle on your farms or to load territory while you do other work.

Addon provides several functions for bot management:

  • Trident toss
  • Use looting
  • Edit Name
  • Change game mode
  • Teleports to you
  • Auto - is reborn behind you after death

Method of application:

  • To use these bot players, first import the provided ".mcaddon" file into Minecraft, it imports the behavior package and resource package into Minecraft.
  • You should now enable the Beta APIs experiment in your world and apply the behavior package to your world (the resource package will be applied automatically), as shown in the following figures:

  • Now you need to add the "StarBot User" tag to any player who needs to be able to use Bot Players. This bit ensures that even if a player cannot use commands, they can always ask the administrator for this tag.
  • Command to add a tag to yourself:

  • After completing this step, you can use the full functionality of Bot Players.
  • To invoke a bot player, use the following command:

  • The above command will call the Bot Player and give you a "StarBot Menu" item that can be used to control the Bot Player. But before you can control a bot player with this item, you need to rename it to match the bot's name, as shown below:

  • Renaming ensures that you can manage each bot separately if you need more than one.
  • Now, if you right click on this item, a menu will open from which you can control Bot Player as shown below:

Notes:

  • Clicking the "Flip Trident" option will prompt you for the target block coordinates. It is important to know that Bot will only look at the target block before throwing a trident and there is no guarantee that it will hit the target.
  • Experiments cannot be disabled after they have been activated.
  • If you close the world without removing the bot, it will be automatically removed without killing, and all items in its inventory will be lost.
  • The bot will be automatically deleted in 1000 hours.
  • All bots consider the last "bot summoner" to be their "summoner" and therefore treat it as their primary player, but all players tagged with "StarBot User" can still control them.
