OriginsPE Mod (1.20, 1.19) – Origins & Classes Mod for Bedrock Edition

Selection Screen:

After you upload your world with the add-on enabled for the first time, you will be greeted by a selection screen where you can choose your origin and class:

Select a source:

This is the first query that appears. Use the navigation buttons to switch between different available sources that you can use. Click Select to select this source.

Each Origin has its own gameplay, based on the normal vanilla gameplay. Hover or tap on the display as shown below to see how Origin will affect gameplay:

This is the second query that appears. Use the navigation buttons to switch between the various available courses you can apply for. Click Select to select this class.

Each class has its own character levels based on the normal vanilla gameplay. Move the cursor or click on the display as shown below to see the level of class features:

Origins

The origins dictate to the player the source, its essence - his Origin! Each Origin has unique traits and abilities that the player can use in their adventures, making the game more interesting.

List of Origins:

Here are all available sources you can use and their main features:

Here are some examples of individual origins:

Bird:

The bird race has long since lost the ability to fly. Now you can see these peaceful creatures moving from one place to another. The Avians are fast-moving sources that allow rapid movement from ground to ground and can glide through the air even without the use of elytra.

• [Skill] Light weight
• Can gently fall to the ground without taking any damage from the fall.

• [Skill] Tailwind
• It has increased speed on the ground.

• [Skill] Vegetarian
• You should not eat meat.

• [Skill] Fresh air
• Can only sleep at high altitudes or Y levels.

Spider:

Their climbing abilities and ability to lure enemies into the web make the spiders ideal hunters. For players who fight in the wild, or dungeon explorers who specialize in hunting and destroying mobs, hostile or not.

• [Passive Ability] Tisma
• Lures into a web of mobs that are temporarily attacked in melee. Has a short recovery time before it can be activated again.

• [Skill] Web Cocoon
• When you stand in the web, it softens some of the damage.

• [Skill] Climbing
• Allows you to climb any block as if it were a staircase.

• [Skill] Carnivorous animal
• You should not eat vegetable food.

• [Skill] Fragile
• He has 3 fewer hearts than usual.

Feline:

With their cat-like appearance, the Feline scare creepers away. With the dexterity of cats, they always land safely on their feet. This Origin can repel creepers and of course fall damage. For players who want a bit more peace in their minds.

• [Trait] Strong Ankles
• Take no fall damage no matter how far down.

• [Passive Ability] Acrobatics
• During the sprint, he gives the player a jump acceleration.

• [Skill] Night
• You will be able to see more clearly in the dark or at night, and also get a little extra power.

• [Skill] Cat appearance
• Cripers will try to stay away from you.

• [Trait] Nine Lives
• Has 1 heart less health than usual.

• [Trait] Weak Arms
• Without the right tools, the player would be either weak or slower.

Changing Origins

You can use the Orb of Origins to change your current Origin. Once you do, the orb will be consumed, except if you were a human Origin originally, and then the change will be broadcasted throughout the world in multiplayer.

Right now, the following are ways to obtain the Orb of Origins:

• You can slay the Wither, and it would have a 1 in 99 chance of dropping the item; or
• Run the /give @s origins:orb_of_origins command.

The Classes

Classes bring additional perks to be used with whatever Origin you may have. You can think of them as professions or jobs.

Class list:

The following are all available courses you can apply for:

• Thread: no extra features, just leave it as it is.
• Archers: Deep bow skills that allow them to kill targets from a distance.
• Beastmaster: An animal friend who gives tamed animals a permanent buff.
• Forge: Excellent craft skills for making gear, maximizing efficiency and damage.
• Cleric: An expert in brewing, to create longer and more powerful potions.
• Cooking: Makes the prepared food more saturated, and also prepares stews and soups that can rejuvenate.
• Researcher: Travelers who travel through biomes and areas that do not satisfy their hunger for sprint.
• Farmer: Uses new custom copper hoe at its best, giving more yield per crop.
• Lumberjack: Can instantly destroy an entire forest, and sometimes return the service back to the ground by transplanting them.
• Merchant: His charisma allows villagers to bargain at lower prices.
• Miner: experienced depth excavators, which allows them to extract more resources efficiently and faster.
• Robber: Moves in the shadows, sneaking up on his targets and damaging them.
• Warrior: The most powerful who prefers to fight with great bravery, meeting his enemies with a force that increases with time.

Opt-out class:

You can use the Retired Paper feature to change or cancel the course. Once you do that, the paper will be used, except when you were originally a class of jerks, and then the change will be broadcast worldwide in a multiplayer game.

Currently, you can only receive your Resignation by completing the following command:

• /give @s of origin:resignation_paper

Installation Note:

• This add-on uses features that are locked behind an experimental switch, please enable all experimental settings to run this add-on.
• This add-on doesn't need/use GameTest API, so you can disable it!

Known Issues:

• This add-on needs/uses the player.json modification, and therefore will not work with other add-ons that also modify it.

How to install: (on Realms)

Below is a sample instruction on how to install an add-on on Realms:

1. Create a new local world
2. Enable experiments as above
3. Apply an add-in (both behaviors and resource packages)
4. Save and leave the world
5. Import the world into your worlds
