About This Mod
Minced Combat (1.21) is a redesigned Souls-like battle system that is the successor to the discontinued 3D Combat Addon. It brings realistic 3D animations, 19 weapons with unique series/styles (2-5 strokes each), target evasion/rolling, dynamic defense/reflection (stability/energy system, no interface strip), contact (green contour on enemies), penetrating strikes, air attacks/jump/finishing, rage scale for higher skills and the ability to remove the blade into the scabbard. Damage types: chopping (balanced), piercing (significant harm, low stability/contact), crushing (high penetration of protection).
Capabilities:
Armament (19 types): Unique series/step styles (2-5 strokes), parameters/multipliers. Examples: Katana (quick attacks), pair daggers/long sword (snatch attacks), spear (standard strikes), bulky weapon (stunning), drill weapon (running attack). All types of blades have finishing/air/jump attacks.
Basic combat skills: Attack (LKM series), Avoidance (direction/roll, energy waste), Block (immediate hold of the RKM; exhaustion of protection, interruption in excess), Contact/Reflection (green contour on opponents; the stronger the contact, the higher the chance of victory, zeroes in the opponent's rollback timer).
Skills: Powerful Strike (1st slot), Gain (2nd slot), Weapon Specific 3rd (e.g. higher skills triggered by the rage scale). Replenishment: Block (most) or piercing attack (drill weapon). Custom tables.
Advanced options: Energy/stability system, rage scale/top skills, in-flight blows/stunning, scabbard (Always mode), face selection (only for scrum/always for styles), reflection lines, stunning marker.
