About This Mod

This mode fixes many minor problems with HUD, especially when using mixed input, that is, any input system that simultaneously outputs controller and keyboard/mouse signals. This is typical of things like Steam Deck or controllers with additional buttons that can be mapped to a keyboard, and a gyroscope - with a mouse to control the camera. In a vanilla game, this causes the user interface to flicker and some features to not work as you would expect. For example, you cannot use the power hotkeys when using the controller. This mod fixes it.


The changes are not as extensive as those in LE1 and LE2, because this mod did not require as much work to meet the basic standards I wanted to get.

You can now use the power hotkeys when using the controller.

The hotkey bar is now completely hidden when you hide it.

Now you can switch the hotkey panel using Y on the keyboard, as in LE1 and LE2 with HUD Enhancements.

The hotkey bar now remembers whether it was hidden during saves and transitions between levels. If you hide it, it will remain hidden until you remove it.

In the installation options, you can lock the prompts and hints for the controller or PC. By default they are dynamic and will behave like vanilla based on what type of input you are currently using. You can lock them in PC or console style. This affects the interaction prompts, the button prompts in Atlas/Triton, and the prompts displayed in the game.

If you start dragging the force when the hotkey bar is minimized, it will expand until you reset the force icon.

Fixed an error where d pad icons were cut off in the control wheel part.
