About This Mod

This mod works for all versions of the game (0.7.955 as well as 0.7.965 Beta)!


Motivation


Some mercenary companies seemed a little weak to me, so I improved them slightly, leaving the stronger ones unchanged.



Features


I have defined the mercenary's unit value as follows, which is very close to what I assume Greg meant by setting prices:


Brigades: 15

Mercenary archers: 20

Heavy Mercenary Archers: 25

Spearmen: 30

Mercenary infantry: 35


On that basis, I adjusted the cost of the mercenary company, both those I changed and those I left unchanged. They now consist of the following units, the value of which is indicated in brackets:


Local thugs (30): 2x brigantines (instead of 1x)

Recruited Brigadiers (45): 3x Brigadiers (instead of 2x)

Forest Brotherhood (50): 1x Merka Archers, 2x Brigants (instead of 1x)

Sons of the Way (60): 1x marker archers, 1x heavy marker archers, 1x brigants (new)

Combat Brothers (65): 1x Spearmen, 1x Infantry - Note: They have no special traits, so there is an argument in favor of making them cheaper (perhaps that's why they are so cheap in Vanilla, at 50). But I didn't check how much difference there was in practice, so I left the usual formula.

Flock of mad geese (85): 1st infantry, 1st spearmen, 1st archers.

Greencaps (90): 2x infantry, 1x archers.

Vultures (100): 2x infantry (instead of 3x), 1x spearmen (infantry replacement)



Technical stuff


This mod is editing DT_MercenaryCompanies.uasset, so it will be incompatible with any other Retinue save or size mods.



Installation


1) Download the ZIP file.

2) Extract the ZIP file.

3) Place the .pak file in the \steamapps\common\Manor Lords\ManorLords\Content\Paks\~mods folder. If the folder does not exist, create it

first.

4) Download the save and wait until the month is over for the measurement contracts to update.

5) Profit!!!
